Theory at Work is a film production company from Belgrade (Serbia). It was founded by film director Marta Popivoda, dramaturge Ana Vujanović, and producer Dragana Jovović. For a number of years, they had collaborated in various cinema and multimedia projects, mostly under the auspices of Walking Theory, a theoretical-artistic platform. Theory at Work is intended to pursue contemporary practices in creative documentary, experimental and artistic film. Our idea is to create an artistic platform for producing innovative and radical experiments in cinema. Freedom Landscapes is the first feature-length documentary of Theory at Work, whose team already successfully collaborated on Yugoslavia, How Ideology Moved Our Collective Body by Marta Popivoda, which premiered at the 63rd Berlinale.
